Q) There is a common belief that dictates you should hide your safe, doesn't Heirloom believe this?
A) The decision to hide your safe is a personal one. Most quality safes have holes pre-drilled to bolt them to the floor. If you are comfortable with your 600+ lb. safe and its contents displayed somewhere in your home than a standard cloak is ideal for you. If you prefer to hide your safe than you can choose a cloak that completely conceals and disguises so it is not recognized as a safe.

Q) Does the cloak restrict the movement of the door?
A) Whichever model you choose you can expect the door will open a minimum of 90 degrees for easy access inside.

Q) Heirloom claims "no tools necessary" to assemble but includes fasteners, why?
A) As with any natural wood product, temperature and humidity over time can begin to affect the overall fit. We provide optional fasteners to help control any possible shifts or movements.

Q) Does Heirloom Manufacture Safes?
A) No, we manufacture wood components and other custom options.
