Heirloom Safe & Chest was formed just two years ago by two creative entrepreneurs. One a visionary with a background in product development and sales and the other a master furniture builder with 30 years of experience. Being from Michigan both began seeing first hand the harsh realities of a state whose economy is based on a crumbling automotive industry.

Lane Joanis and Brandon Muscott immediately recognized each other’s talents and decided to build a business together. Having seen enough of the “other side” of the business world, the pair dreamed of creating products designed to last. Products that people would be proud to own, focused on the things that matter most in life.

With the support of friends and family, and the enthusiastic feedback of their early customers, they are now making that dream a reality. Their custom safe exteriors are unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere, and are indeed focused on preserving the things that people care about most deeply.

Following the successful launch of their Heirloom ‘Armoire Style Safes’, Lane and Brandon have rounded out their product offering with a new line of ‘Heirloom Boxes and Chests’ for release in 2009. Like the Armoire safe exteriors, the Heirloom Boxes are 100% American-made in Brighton, Michigan.
